- Discovering various breakages in Ubuntu 11.10; Mumble killed my laptop (maybe not) re-installed 11.10.
- Now on Gnome fallback in place of Xfce or Unity. Tested Linux Mint 12 – missed bag of fail on Gnome 3.0 and MATE. - Dave
- Failed to install 11.10 on my netbook, while I still prefer 11.04 on my desktop (behind the curve, I know…); sad to see support ended for the Nexus One; experiencing the general difficulties people have had with transitioning one Google account to another; played around with an Asus EEE-pad transformer. Lots of debate as to the future of Ubuntu – I remain neutral in my judgment, though I am aware of the often self-fulfilling nature of such prophecies.
