I know this has nothing to do with Ubuntu, but I thought it might be useful for those of you who didn’t get the new Google bar yet.
NOTICE: Thanks to Marco in the comments, if you are a Google Chrome user, replace CTRL+SHIFT+K to F12.
In Canada:
- Go to google.ca
- Press CTRL+SHIFT+K
- Copy and paste this into it:
document.cookie="PREF=ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=88e8716486ff1e5d:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:LM=1322688085:S=McEsyvcXKMiVfGds; path=/; domain=.google.ca";window.location.reload();
- Press ENTER
- Then copy and paste this into it (don’t worry, it’s different from the first one):
document.cookie="PREF=ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=88e8716486ff1e5d:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:LM=1322688085:S=McEsyvcXKMiVfGds; path=/; domain=.google.com";window.location.reload();
In the US:
- Go to google.com
- Press CTRL+SHIFT+K
- Copy and paste this into it:
document.cookie="PREF=ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=88e8716486ff1e5d:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:LM=1322688085:S=McEsyvcXKMiVfGds; path=/; domain=.google.com";window.location.reload();
