This week the Ubuntu Developer Summit – UDS is taking place in Orlando Florida. It is a great opportunity to listen in to the sessions as they are streamed in audio and some such as the keynote are streamed by video http://video.ubuntu.com/live/
If you would like to follow a session click on it’s details on the schedule page, rooms name s are also the IRC channel names should you wish to join in on irc. http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-p/ is the schedule for the week, note it may change due to people marking themselves essential so things don’t conflict as they wish to be present in those sessions. You can subscribe to blueprints and track the years work, take part in the etherpad talks and add comments in them to be raised and don’t forget IRC.
If you do want to participate remotely you comments and thoughts are welcomed via IRC the sessions take into account those views and do sometimes act upon them so you do get a chance to voice your thoughts this week to people.
Don’t forget there is a -4 hour difference this week http://uds.ubuntu.com/participate/remote/ lists all the information on how to take part remotely. Do try if you can to even listen in it’s interesting to see how the plans for the future 6 months are taken on board.
