Ok so Ubuntu is coming out with a new release soon! 10.10 Maverick Meerkat…while I’ve tried the beta version and not experienced any issues as of yet I still hold some trepidation about upgrading to the new version (as always). This is due to the fact that upgrades can cause multiple issues with software currently being used and drivers for your current hardware. Note that I said “Usually”. But if you’re the type who wishes to upgrade well, I wish you most good fortune in your endeavor. But, if you’re the type who plans on doing a full install from scratch of the new version (10.10 Maverick Meerkat) then great! As ubuntu usually improves on what they’ve already done I expect good things in the new version rather than bad. 9.04-9.10 are still my favorites right now but that might change down the line. We’ll see….
