In the last few months I have done many different types of work in the Ubuntu community, and have taken up some responsibilities as well. But I still remain a schoolboy, and this brings me down to the ‘boring’ side of life: Schooling!
Being in Grade 9 CBSE I have to study quite much, and now that the exams are nearing (February 2011) I have to devote more and more time to my studies. Grade 10 is coming closer, which means more studies again This means I won’t be free or do any major Ubuntu work from now until the beginning of March, when I will be free for just 1 month before schools would begin again.
Alas, there is hope for things to improve. If god wills, I shall move to the west by August 2011, and schooling there is much easier, which means more free time
I would like to thank the whole Ubuntu community who has helped me in my journey. I began my developer contributions to Ubuntu in the beginning of this year, became Ubuntu member in August, and MOTU in September. Things have slowed down since then, and I don’t think I would be able to fix as many papercuts and bugs in the natty 11.04 cycle as I did in the maverick 10.10 cycle.
Nevertheless, being a part of the great Ubuntu community is amazing!
